To truly “Develop Tomorrows Heritage”, we understand the importance of the environment in both the current amenity of our communities and the future sustainability and integration of them into the world we live.

Rose has its own strict environmental governance procedures that provide the basis of all our masterplanned villages and buildings within them. These include the elimination of greenhouse gasses, sustainability and the regeneration of brownfields sites back into the planned and natural environments.

Some of our environmental initiatives include:

	Rose has pioneered the retention of mass storm water runoff storage at Breakfast Point where over 1,000,000 liters of once waste water is now stored for use in the village.
	Rose has been responsible for the planting of over 4,000 trees and the protection of sensitive mangroves to ensure the return of native birds to these areas.
	Rose is currently researching technology where a village of 1,000 dwellings will be able to treat its own sewerage, and provide its own power and water.
